Sometimes it is not possible for ABTA-BEN to provide assistance, although advice will always be freely available. But there are many other organisations and we list several below, with direct web links, in case one would be considered more appropriate to the circumstances of the person in need.

ABTA-BEN's responsibility is, however, limited to listing possible sources of assistance and further information must be secured directly from the selected organisation.

The Family Fund
The Family Fund provides timely grants to families with severely disabled children, based on families' views and needs: www.familyfund.org.uk
NHS: Social Care Services
Looking after the health and welfare of the population, and especially children or families who are under stress, or people with disabilities or with emotional or psychological difficulties, or people with financial or housing problems, even older people needing help with daily living activities: www.nhs.uk/england/socialCare.

However, please note that local Councils are the usual provider of such assistance.
